David is an experienced chairman and director and a seasoned senior executive with broad and deep experience in the financial services sector.
He is an experienced board and corporate governance professional, having fulfilled the role of Group Company Secretary with AIB, a large, publicly listed financial services organisation, throughout a period of sustained challenge and subsequent recovery for the company. He was a valued adviser to Chairmen, CEOs, Directors and Executives on promoting and sustaining the robustness and efficacy of corporate governance arrangements and board and committee performance and effectiveness.
He has been Non-Executive Chairman and Director of the Board of Trustees of a number of financial services industry bodies’ DB and DC pension schemes and a Non-Executive Director of numerous AIB subsidiary company Boards.
David is a Certified Investment Fund Director, a Master of Business Administration and a Chartered Certified Accountant.
