Denis Kelleher BCL, LLD is Head of Privacy (EMEA) at LinkedIn. He is the author of Privacy and Data Protection Law in Ireland (Bloomsbury Professional) 2nd Edition and co-author of EU Data Protection law (Bloomsbury Professional). Previously he was a Senior Legal Advisor in the Central Bank of Ireland. Previously he held the posts of Legal Counsellor in the Permanent Representation of Ireland to the European Union, where he represented Ireland at the negotiations that drafted the text of the Lisbon Treaty, Advisory Counsel in the Office of the Attorney General and Junior Counsel in private practice.
