We have developed a new online workshop for non-PIPs which:

Shares the feedback from the ISI on what they have seen to date. This will provide good learnings for anyone involved in this area. It focuses on the debt solution options under.

  • Personal Insolvency Act 2012,

  • Bankruptcy

and their practical application using the ISI case study scenarios.

Using theses case studies, we will outline the financial implications from the different stakeholder perspectives and demonstrate the range of possible solutions under the different options.

In this online workshop we will overview the following:

  • The Debt Settlement Arrangement (DSA)

  • The Personal Insolvency Arrangement (PIA)

  • Debt Relief Notice (DRN)

  • Bankruptcy

  • Reasonable Living Expenses (RLE)

  • Personal Financial Statement (PFS)

  • Key changes made since the initial legislation in 2012

  • A DRN case, DSA case and PIA case published by ISI

  • The activity under the insolvency arrangements up to end 2019

  • Changes proposed to the insolvency legislation that are under consideration by the government

The workshop is designed for, but is not limited to:

  • Professional personal debt advisors, lawyers and other professionals who are involved with mortgage pre-arrears, arrears and collections

  • Lender front office staff who are involved with mortgage pre-arrears, arrears and collections

  • Lender back office staff including underwriters, mortgage restructure solutions specialists and other mortgage support staff involved with mortgage pre-arrears, arrears and collections
