We have developed a new online workshop for non-PIPs which:
Shares the feedback from the ISI on what they have seen to date. This will provide good learnings for anyone involved in this area. It focuses on the debt solution options under.
Personal Insolvency Act 2012,
Bankruptcy
and their practical application using the ISI case study scenarios.
Using theses case studies, we will outline the financial implications from the different stakeholder perspectives and demonstrate the range of possible solutions under the different options.
In this online workshop we will overview the following:
The Debt Settlement Arrangement (DSA)
The Personal Insolvency Arrangement (PIA)
Debt Relief Notice (DRN)
Bankruptcy
Reasonable Living Expenses (RLE)
Personal Financial Statement (PFS)
Key changes made since the initial legislation in 2012
A DRN case, DSA case and PIA case published by ISI
The activity under the insolvency arrangements up to end 2019
Changes proposed to the insolvency legislation that are under consideration by the government
The workshop is designed for, but is not limited to:
Professional personal debt advisors, lawyers and other professionals who are involved with mortgage pre-arrears, arrears and collections
Lender front office staff who are involved with mortgage pre-arrears, arrears and collections
Lender back office staff including underwriters, mortgage restructure solutions specialists and other mortgage support staff involved with mortgage pre-arrears, arrears and collections
Staff working in firms which provide specialist mortgage arrears and collections support to mortgage lenders (Outsourcing / Insourcing)
Credit Union staff
Regulatory staff
The event will be held over Zoom. Please ensure you have access to Zoom in advance of the event taking place. Zoom is available on all PCs, laptops, tablets and Apple or Android devices. The link to join the event will be emailed to registered members on the day of the event.
The registration for the event will close once we reach capacity or at 3.30pm the day before the event.

Credit reviewer with the Credit Review Office. This is a government body to which SME customers can appeal bank lending declines and get an independent review plus assistance in seeking to overturn the decline decision.
