Evelyn Cregan IOB Director of Compliance and Governance Education will introduce the Professional Certificate and Diploma in Compliance programmes.
Kathy Jacobs, ACOI will give an overview of the role of the compliance officer. We will hear how the Certificate and Diploma in Compliance programmes can assist you launch/ progress your career in Compliance and about the ACOI LCOI designation on successful completion of the programme. Kathy will talk about the Niall Gallagher PDC Scholarship award.
The programme information session will be held over Zoom. Please ensure you have access to Zoom in advance of the event taking place. Zoom is available on all PCs, laptops, tablets and Apple or Android devices. The link to the webinar will be emailed to registered members on the day of the webinar.

Kathy Jacobs is president of ACOI.
Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in London followed by a number of years working as a forensic accountant in the public and private sectors, Kathy returned to Ireland in 2000 and commenced a career in Regulatory Compliance in KBC Group and has worked mainly in retail banking compliance. Kathy Jacobs is the Director Regulatory Affairs, Risk and Compliance at The AA (Ireland) and previous to this was Head of Compliance with the cloud-base payments platform Modulr Europe.
Kathy achieved the LCOI qualification in 2006 and spent a further 7 years at EBS Building Society working in all areas including Money Laundering, Data Protection and Conduct of Business.
Kathy set up and chaired the ACOI’s Data Protection Working Group in 2009 and was also chairperson of the Financial Crime Compliance Working Group. In 2012 Kathy joined the Council of ACOI and became President of the ACOI in 2020.
