Amro is our first Emirati and Certified Investment Fund Director from the MENA region. He is currently the Executive Director of Institutional Banking at First Abu Dhabi Bank, and mainly houses Abu Dhabi and Federal government banking requirements. He has over 15 years of banking and capital markets experience where he previously led the business development activities of Custody & Securities Services in National Bank of Abu Dhabi.
Prior to this, Amro worked in debt syndications and institutional coverage with HSBC. Amro is also a venture builder, and mentor in a joint acceleration program between Abu Dhabi Investment Office and Microsoft for Startups. More recently he founded CapM Group, a venture capital & technology firm on a mission to democratize investments and access to liquidity in the private markets.
He has a B.A in International Relations from Rollins College, an EMBA from INSEAD, certified Investor Relations Officer, and Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst.
