Join IOB and John Curry, Founder/CEO of Last Mile AI, as we go beyond the hype of AI and explain the ideas and fundamentals behind the technology. John will explain AI technologies including ChatGPT and reflect on how effective is AI - Is it merely a tool for business plans or does it have the potential to alter the business itself and environment that we operate in? John will examine AI’s track record to date including case studies in healthcare, education and financial services and discuss how controllable is AI? Can firms control I.P, AI usage and strategy while successfully managing safety and regulatory risk?

John Curry
Founder/CEO Last Mile AI
John founded Last Mile to use his hard-won battle experience to make good on the promises of AI to clients. Heading up the AI team of talented data scientists and engineers, John loves to work on projects all the way from requirements through to successful deployment and value delivery.
John has worked in data science and applied AI for over a decade with several years of software development before that. He first programmed BASIC on an Acorn Electron in the 1980’s to produce patterns of swirling shapes and was aghast at how long it took to produce something so completely useless.
When modern AI finally helped us to accomplish something real, he knew he had to get on board.
