This event is a programme taster for the (NFQ level 7) Professional Certificate in Consumer Credit.
ABOUT
The event is aimed at all those working in retail consumer credit. It will provide an update on new issues arising to credit agreements, loans, credit cards and hire purchase arrangements. This event will provide an introduction to the consumer credit programme and the professional designation APA, required by those working in regulated environments.
This event will be held over Zoom. Please ensure you have access to Zoom in advance of the event taking place. Zoom is available on all PCs , laptops, tablets and Apple or Android devices. The link to join the event will be emailed to registered members on the day of the event.
The registration for the event will close once we reach capacity or at 11.55pm the day before the event.
There is 0.5 CPD hour available for the following designations:

Keith Browne is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland since 1994, having qualified with EY in Dublin. In addition he holds a QFA Diploma from the Institute of Bankers and a Diploma in Insolvency from Chartered Accountants Ireland. Keith has more than 25 years’ experience working in financial services in numerous financial management and consultancy roles. Keith has supported SIMI and various financial institutions on a number of customised training projects through the preparation and delivery of Consumer Credit CPD and Consumer Protection compliance training modules.
Evelyn Cregan is Company Secretary, and Director of Executive Education at IOB. Her education portfolio in IOB covers governance, compliance, culture, sustainable finance and FinTech programmes. Evelyn spent over a decade lecturing in UCD, Smurfit, and Quinn Schools of Business across executive education, finance, accounting, and tax.
Evleyn is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland, qualifying with KPMG and a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute (ICSA).
