In October 2022 the Central Bank of Ireland launched a comprehensive review of the Consumer Protection Code. The Code, which was introduced in 2012, has established a strong set of rules and expectations for how firms should treat their customers. Given the rapidly changing financial services landscape, the Central Bank is now reviewing the Code, and the aim of the review is to modernise the Code to ensure it is fit for purpose and continues to protect consumers of financial products today and in the future. We are at this event by Michael Hennigan, Anna-Marie Finnegan, Carol Jordan and Siobhan Conneely from the Central Bank who will provide us with a presentation on this review.
