Following The ABCs of LGBTQ+ event in 2021 we are delighted to have ShoutOut back with us for 2022.
This session draws directly on ShoutOut’s work with young people in schools. Participants will learn how small steps can make the retail banking environment, their workplace and their home more inclusive and have the participants feeling fluent in the language young people use to capture their identity. We'll discuss why it can still be difficult for young people to come out in a more accepting Ireland, and together find practical solutions to support anyone who may be struggling.
ShoutOut is a registered charity committed to improving life for LGBTQ+ people by sharing personal stories and educating school students, parents & guardians, teachers, youth workers and workplaces on LGBTQ+ issues.
The event will be held over Zoom. Please ensure you have access to Zoom in advance of the event taking place. Zoom is available on all PCs, laptops, tablets and Apple or Android devices. The link to join the event will be available in IOB Learn.
The registration for the event will close once we reach capacity.
