Mairéad McGuiness

EU Commissioner

Mairead is the EU Commissioner for Financial Services, Financial Stability and Capital Markets Union. She has been a member of the European Parliament since 2004 and became the First Vice-President of the European Parliament in 2017.

Prior to entering politics, she was a journalist, broadcaster and commentator. She holds a Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance.


Brian Healy

Former COO/CFO of the Irish Stock Exchange Plc

Specialist in securities markets, with 20 years’ experience as COO/CFO of the Irish Stock Exchange Plc, as well as non-executive/Chair roles in a number of investment management, market infrastructure and other entities.

A fellow of CAI and of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment.


Melíosa O’Caoimh

Country Head, Northern Trust Ireland

Melíosa O’Caoimh, Executive Vice President, is Country Head of Northern Trust’s business in Ireland. Northern Trust is one of Ireland’s largest fund administrators and global custodians, employing more than 1,700 people across offices in Dublin and Limerick.

Prior to joining Northern Trust in 2003, Melíosa spent 8 years with Pioneer Global Investments. Prior to that Melíosa worked with Arthur Andersen & Company, Chartered Accountants. Meliosa received a B.A degree in Economics and Politics at University College Dublin. Meliosa is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and a Member of the Institute of Taxation in Ireland.

Melíosa is the current Chair of the 30% Club in Ireland having joined as a supporter in 2015. She is also co-chair of Business in the Community’s “Leadership for Sustainability” Committee. Melíosa was on the Board of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ireland from 2008 to 2014.  Melíosa is currently on the Board of The Institute of Bankers in Ireland.

Mary O'Dea

Chief Executive of IOB

Mary joined IOB in April 2018 from the Central Bank of Ireland where she was Director of Securities and Markets Supervision. She was previously Ireland's representative at the World Bank and prior to that held the role of Alternate Executive Director representing Ireland with the International Monetary Fund. Mary previously held several director roles with the Central Bank of Ireland, including Director of Financial Operations, Consumer Director and Acting Chief Executive of the Financial Regulator.
