Join IOB, Sustainable Finance Skillnet and the Banking & Payments Federation of Ireland (BPFI) for the launch of a new research report on the skills gaps, education and training needs for Retail Financial Services in Ireland in the area of Sustainable Finance.
This report gives an overview of the findings, current coverage, future needs and some guidance on possible further developments in Sustainable Finance education and training for the Retail Financial Services sector in Ireland.
Yvonne is the Chief Sustainability Officer and has responsibility for the development and implementation of the Sustainability Strategy across AIB Group for the last 3 years.
Yvonne is an experienced senior leader in financial services with a background in leading business functions covering Data & Analytics, Strategy and Operations.
She is passionate about Sustainability and the role that large corporates should play in leading the transition. Yvonne chairs a number of fora including the Chambers Ireland Sustainable Business Council and the Sustainable Finance Skillnet.
Eimear is the Director of Digital and Innovation in IOB, working with industry to understand current and future skills needs.
She specialises in the design and delivery of world class, professionally relevant, Digital, Innovation, and Sustainable Finance education and training programmes.
She is currently Programme Director for the Professional Diploma in Digital Transformation in Financial Services, Professional Diploma in Data and Analytics in Financial Services and Professional Certificate in Responsible and Sustainable Finance.
Eimear holds a Bachelor of Business Studies and a MSc in Education and Training Management from Dublin City University. She has a keen interest in the social sciences, with particular emphasis on inclusion
Louise O'Mahony is Head of Sustainable Banking at BPFI, supporting the integration of ESG into banking and enabling practical initiatives for banks to support customers to make the transition to a sustainable society.
She is a member of the Sustainable Finance Skillnet Committee, participates in the Central Bank’s SF and Climate Risk Forum and is a Board member of Safeguarding Ireland.
Larry has a treasury and relationship banking background with over 30 years spent in the international financial services industry as a senior executive in a number of European banks.

Larry is a Chartered Banker (IOB) and qualified Company Director (IOD). He is a Fellow of both the Institute of Banking in Ireland (IOB) and the Irish Institute of Training & Development (IITD). He holds an MSc in Investment & Treasury (DCU) and a Bachelor of Financial Services (IOB/UCD)
