As we start the new year, it’s a good time to take stock of the landscape of financial services regulation – this event will be of particular interest to compliance professionals who have to ensure that requirements of new regulations are embedded into daily processes.

Dr David O’Dwyer, lecturer on the MSc in Compliance, will give an overview of the framework of key existing and prospective domestic and EU regulations.

IOB will outline the level 9 certificate programmes, one in Data Protection and one in Financial Crime Prevention starting in trimester 2. These programmes are important for all those working in senior roles in AML/CFT (MLRO’S, PCF 52, Head of Financial Crime etc) and data protection ( DPO’s).

The programmes will commence on 6th February 2023.
