Conor is a senior business development & commercial director with over 25 years’ experience.
He has a proven track record as an institutional business development executive, driving new revenue growth across several international financial services markets. Most recently, he worked as Sales Director at a leading Dublin based international Life Assurance Company where he was responsible for development and oversight of the Company’s internal and external distribution channels across several European and Nordic countries.
A member of Company senior management groups since 2005, Conor has extensive international distribution oversight experience. In previous roles he managed distribution at senior level across the Middle East and Far East where he lived for 6 years.
Conor holds a Master’s degree in Economics from UCD, a post-graduate diploma in Marketing, is a Qualified Financial Adviser and holds a Professional Certificate in Compliance from the Compliance Institute. Conor is a Licentiate of the Institute of Banking, a Certified Investment Fund Director and is a member of the Institute of Directors. He has had long tenure as Chair of the Association of International Life Offices’ Distribution and Marketing Committee.
Conor regularly presented at international conferences on the impact of changing regulation on distribution with a focus on compliance and governance. Conor has extensive experience in cross border distribution of financial products and services across a wide range of jurisdictions and channels.
