Damian is a professional independent non-executive director and chairperson for various UCITS, AIFs, ICAV Platforms and management companies. He has been involved in the financial services industry for over 27 years and is a co-founder of both the Irish Fund Directors Association and the Fund Governance Boardroom Panel. His extensive experience with Fortis / ABN AMRO Prime Fund Solutions covered the global Investment Funds sector in the areas of Fund Administration, Fund Custody and Banking, with a specialism in risk and control assessment.
Damian is Irish resident with experience of investment funds domiciled in various jurisdictions and across a variety of asset classes and investment strategies. Damian has received the accreditation of Certified Investment Fund Director, is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland, holds B.Comm and MBA Degrees cum laude and has also received a qualification with distinction awarded by University College Dublin in Responsible and Sustainable Finance (Investment Funds/Asset Management).
