Deborah has been working in the banking and asset management space for 20 years. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen, she joined the Acquisition Finance team at AIB, where she was involved in structuring and assessing leveraged debt transactions. In 2002, she was a founding partner of Avoca Capital, which became a leading European credit manager. Deborah sat at executive board level in Avoca Capital, and was a member of all Investment and Credit Committees. She was heavily involved in the business, both strategically and operationally, with a key focus on Investment and Portfolio Management. Avoca Capital was sold to KKR in 2014.
Deborah has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from UCC and a Masters in Accounting from UCD. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, is a Certified Investment Fund Director and has a Certificate in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors.
