Orla Carolan is a Director in Grant Thornton’s Financial Services Advisory Practice. Prior to this Orla was Head of Financial Reporting for JPMorgan Hedge Fund Services responsible for end to end service and client delivery across the financial reporting and audit process for JPMorgan’s hedge fund business in Ireland. Orla has extensive experience in project and change management including process and operating model development, business process outsourcing, culture reviews and risk/governance within the asset management sector both from advisory projects and industry experience.
Orla also has experience in HR/people advisory projects and is a qualified executive coach and trainer holding certifications in Emotional Intelligence and other individual and team psychometric tools. Prior to JPMorgan Orla also worked in fund services operations roles at State Street and BNY Mellon. Orla is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and holds a B.A. in Business and Economics from Trinity College Dublin, a Diploma in Life and Executive Coaching and a Diploma (QQI) in Training Delivery and Evaluation.
