The data and analytics environment: data definitions and essential concepts
This session, delivered by Heather Kennedy, will give you a better understanding of the data and analytics environment. You will be guided through the basic principles of various analytical concepts and their business applications.
This will give you a better understanding of recent business and technology trends in this field, and in turn contribute to the design of a strategy that helps your organisation grow in terms of data driven maturity.
The power of the operating model
This session, delivered by Garvan Callan, will guide you through the concept and importance of, the operating model.
Business results, either positive or negative, are a direct result of the business and operating model choices, prioritisation and resource allocations leaders make.
The business model translates the strategy into the optimal way of facing into the market and works with all the stakeholders required to enable success – it is the way an organization creates, delivers, and captures value, in economic, social, cultural or other contexts.
The operating model is how we translate strategy into operations within the organisation, includes the functional model or ‘structure’ of an organisation but also the key capabilities, what they are responsible for and how those capabilities, in the functional model, work together to complete activities and in turn create value.
The event will be held over Zoom. Please ensure you have access to Zoom in advance of the event taking place. Zoom is available on all PCs, laptops, tablets and Apple or Android devices. The link to join the event will be emailed to registered members on the day of the event.
