Join IOB and Siobhan Homan, Head of Function - AML Supervision at the Central Bank of Ireland, for an overview of the regulator’s focus and priorities in the field of AML. Siobhan will discuss the Central Bank’s approach to AML/CFT supervision, common AML/CFT deficiencies identified during supervisory inspections and the Central Bank’s focus for 2024 and beyond.

Siobhan Homan

Head of Function - AML Supervision, the Central Bank of Ireland

Siobhan Homan has been with the Central Bank of Ireland since 2011. She took up her current role, Head of Function - AML Supervision, in October 2020. The AML Supervision Function is responsible for effectively monitoring credit and financial institutions' compliance with their Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism obligations under the Criminal Justice (Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing) Act 2010 (as amended). Siobhan’s previous role in the Central Bank was Head of Function - Fund Service Provider Supervision. Siobhan has extensive prior experience in management roles in the Funds Industry and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
