Join IOB and Bernard Walsh, Pensions & Investment Director PwC, for an update on the implementation of the auto enrolment scheme.

Bernard will provide attendees with a general overview of the legislation – honing in on some of the key aspects – as well as a refresher on how the scheme will operate in practice. Bernard will explain the global context and examine some lessons learned from other jurisdictions.

The session will offer attendees some interesting reflections - such as whether the auto enrolment scheme will address the gender pay gap. Bernard will also compare auto enrolment with its alternative, the master trust, from the point of view of tax efficiency.

There is 1 CPD hour for the following designations:

  • QFA- (Pensions)

  • APA- (Pensions)

  • RS- (Pensions)

  • LCI

  • FCI Compliance

  • WMP

  • RPP
