Trusts continue to play a central role in effective estate planning — yet their legal, governance and tax implications can be complex and often misunderstood. This focused online bootcamp is designed to cut through that complexity and give you a clear, practical understanding of how trusts operate in real‑world planning scenarios.

Our expert speaker will begin by examining why trusts are used in an estate planning context, including the objectives they can help achieve and the situations in which they may be particularly appropriate. Our speaker will then explore the different types of trusts, outlining the key features of each and the circumstances in which they are most commonly used in practice.

Participants will also gain insight into the legal and governance considerations that arise when establishing and managing trusts, before moving on to an overview of the taxation implications associated with each type of trust. These discussions will be firmly grounded in practical application, highlighting common issues, risks and points of attention for advisers.

To bring the concepts to life, the session will conclude with a case study following the life cycle of a typical trust, illustrating how trusts are established, administered and ultimately wound up.

A practical, end‑to‑end bootcamp for advisers looking to strengthen their understanding of trusts and apply that knowledge confidently in an estate planning context.

This event will automatically close midnight the day before or if its fully booked.
