Join Professor Blanaid Clarke for an event on ethical decision making. Corporate purpose and values are core to any organisation, and strong leadership is necessary to ensure that ethical standards are maintained. Drawing on best governance practices - including the IBCB's DECIDE framework - current research and relevant case studies, this event will explore how to approach ethical decision making.

The event will be held over Zoom. Please ensure you have access to Zoom in advance of the event taking place. Zoom is available on all PCs, laptops, tablets and Apple or Android devices.

The link to join the event will be emailed to registered members on the day of the event. The registration for the event will close once we reach capacity or at 12pm the day before the event.

There is 1 CPD hour relevant to Ethics for all designations

Professor Blanaid Clarke

McCann FitzGerald Chair of Corporate Law

Professor Blanaid Clarke holds the McCann FitzGerald Chair in Corporate Law at Trinity College Dublin. Her research interests include corporate governance and financial services law. She is Deputy Chairman of the Irish Banking Culture Board and the Irish representative on the OECD’s Corporate Governance Committee. She is also a member of ESMAs Takeover Bids Network and a Vice President of the Academic Board of the European Banking Institute in Frankfurt. Previously, she was a member of the Irish Central Bank Commission, ESMAs Securities Markets Stakeholder Group, the European Commission’s Informal Expert Group on Company Law and its Reflection Group on the Future of EU Company Law
