This event is a programme taster for the Professional Certificate in Financial Crime Prevention.


ABOUT

As the volume and complexity of the regulation in the area of Financial Crime Prevention increases, those working in this complex environment need to balance their fiduciary responsibilities of ensuring ethical and legal compliance with the wider organisational objectives.

Join us for an update on current issues in this area and see how the Professional Certificate in Financial Crime Prevention programme can equip Money Laundering Reporting Officers (MLROs) and others who specialise in this are with the necessary competence to fulfil their duties.


The event will be held over Zoom. Please ensure you have access to Zoom in advance of the event taking place. Zoom is available on all PCs, laptops, tablets and Apple or Android devices. The link to join the event will be emailed to registered members on the day of the event.

The registration for the event will close once we reach capacity or at 11:55pm the day before the event.

There is 0.5 CPD hours for the following areas:

David Kearney

David is an experienced compliance manager (CF-2) who specialises in financial crime. He has a Masters in Compliance, a level 9 Certificate in Financial Crime Prevention, and a Level 9 Certificate in Data Protection from UCD. David is a Fellow of the Compliance Institute and currently sit on the Compliance Institute's Financial Crime working group. He has written several articles which have been published in the Compliance Institute's Irish Compliance quarterly in 2020 and 2021.
