This event is aimed at those working or aspiring to work in the areas of financial advice and wealth management. It will be of particular interest to Qualified Financial Advisers (QFAs) who wish to explore the hidden dynamics of inflation and its effect on wealth preservation. Specifically, is will deal with inflation as wealth transfer and how this process is amplified by the taxation system. It will conclude with some thoughts on how the retail investor can possibly exploit inflation to their advantage.

Dr Gerry Grenham is former Head of Postgraduate Programmes and currently Senior Academic Consultant at IOB.
