We are open for applications for cohort 26 of IOB’s Certified Investment Fund Director programme.
Join Academic Programme Director, Giles Swan to learn more about the CIFD programme. Giles will discuss issues and challenges facing the sector, from both a domestic and international perspective.
He will introduce the modules covered on the CIFD programme, outline the programme delivery plan, advise on the benefits of taking the programme, and set out who the programme is for. This programme is the benchmark governance programme for those working in funds both in Ireland and globally.
Upon successfully completing the CIFD Programme, candidates will be invited to apply for the Certified Investment Fund Director professional designation. As a CIFD designate you will be part of a strong network of investment fund directors and industry contacts from the programme and benefit from recognition within the investment fund industry.

Giles Swan - Giles Swan has over two decades in the investment fund industry as a regulator and the European policy director of an investment fund industry association.
Giles is the Head of European Policy at Blockchain.com. Giles chaired an ESMA task force negotiating the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive, has been a national representative on ESMA’s Investment Management Standing Committee and a national expert in the Council of Ministers.
Giles holds a BA in Banking and Finance, first class, from London Guildhall University and an MSc in Finance and Investment from CASS Business School.
