Peter Rossiter will provide practical tips on how to prepare for and manage event risk. As we face into a period of significant geopolitical, economic and technological uncertainty, Peter will share practical examples of how to assess these risks, what are some of the right questions for a risk manager to ask and, if they do materialise, how to manage through significant volatility. Peter is an experienced Chief Risk Officer where he has led risk functions in highly volatile environments such as Turkey and Russia, as well as in two nationalised banks in the immediate aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis in Ireland and more recently, in the establishment of fintech challenger banks in the UK and the UAE. He is currently on a number of boards and risk, audit, finance and IT sub-committees.
