Organisational Effectiveness for Fund Management Companies – Everything you need to know but were afraid to ask…
FUNDS by IOB in association with Certified Investment Fund Director Institute are delighted to host a live event on this very important regulatory topic on Tuesday, 26th January at 3pm.
The director for organisational effectiveness (OED) has a very important role to perform under the Central Bank’s regulatory regime for fund management companies and self-managed funds (CP 86). The OED role was one of the aspects identified in the Central Banks thematic review of fund management companies’governance, management and effectiveness.
During this event we will consider the various Central Bank expectations and the findings from the thematic review.
We are delighted to be joined by Mark Fitzgerald, an independent director, and Eoin Motherway from The Asset Management Exchange, who will discuss the different practical aspects of the role and share their considerable expertise on the organisation of fund management entities.
This event will be particularly relevant to directors and senior management of Fund Management Companies (i.e. UCITS ManCos or AIFMs), directors of self-managed funds and other industry professionals within fund service providers and advisory firms who engage with the OED.
There are 0.5 CPD hours available for the following designations.
