PRMIA Partnership - Global Associate PRM (aPRM)
We are delighted to announce an expansion of our partnership with the Professional Risk Managers' International Association ( PRMIA), specifically relating to our two market leading level 9 Risk Management programmes which are accredited by UCD and delivered by a renowned lecturing team including Prof Cal Muckley, Prof Brian O'Kelly, Dr Allan Kearns, Dr Fergus Gaughran, Niall Fitzgerald and Clive Kelly
1. Professional Diploma in Advanced Operational Risk Management in Financial Services
2. Professional Diploma in Advanced Banking Risk Management
Both programmes are now recognised by PRMIA for their internationally recognised Risk Management Certificate- Associate Professional Risk Manager (aPRM) global Certificate. New graduates of both programmes will now receive BOTH the internationally recognised PRMIA aPRM Certificate in addition to their UCD award.
This information event will provide information on the two IOB postgraduate programmes in the area of Risk Management.
It will address the aims and content of both of these stand-alone programmes, as well as addressing how they can be leveraged for those who wish to continue their studies at a later date and achieve the M Sc in Financial Services. Partial funding, where available, will also be discussed.

His experience covers all aspects of IOB educational programmes, with particular emphasis at the postgraduate level. He has knowledge of the full suite of IOB's UCD accredited programmes and can offer guidance regarding the most appropriate programme to support your career progression, while availing of the substantial government funding available to support the relevant programmes from the IOB programmes suite.

CEO of The Professional Risk Managers' International Association (PRMIA) - this allows a global view of risk management, governance, marketing and sales in support of a non-profit professional association with a global membership of nearly 50,000+ members in 46 chapters in over 100 countries. Hands-on work with the publication, exam and training offerings of PRMIA have been a real world education to complement marketing, strategy and other such education at the MBA level in Smurfit Graduation School of Business at UCD and Harvard Business School. Professional career with significant and progressive experience of Banking, Governance, Risk Management, Compliance, Operations, Technology, Training and Consulting. This has included work in global firms like EMC, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Merrill Lynch and Bank of America. Worked on the PRISM risk based supervision project with the Irish Regulator at the Central Bank of Ireland. This experience has been enhanced by working with financial services entities to meet the requirements coming from this significant regulatory project. Working on several publications and courses as author, trainer or editor, including Asset Liability Management, Operational Risk, Credit and Counterparty Risk and Strategic Management.
