Dr. Fergus Gaughran
Lecturer at IOB
Fergus was most recently Director of Risk (PCF14) at Ulster Bank. He has extensive experience of model development and validation across retail and wholesale portfolios. This includes programme leadership across IRB, IFRS 9, stress testing and customer management models. Fergus teaches on a number of IOB Level 9 programmes and delivers the Credit module on the Certified Bank Director programme. Many years ago he completed a PhD in Mathematics, following undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Mathematics and Statistics.
