Risk-sharing financial instruments are becoming an increasingly important feature of the Irish finance landscape, helping to improve access to funding for businesses while supporting economic growth, innovation and sustainability. These arrangements enable lenders to share a portion of lending risk with government and European institutions, helping to increase the availability of finance and support investment across key sectors of the economy.
In this event, speakers from the Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland (SBCI) will explain how risk-sharing instruments operate in practice, the role of loan guarantee schemes in the Irish market and the ways these programmes support SMEs, farmers, sustainability projects and wider economic development.
Members will also gain insights into current European and national initiatives, emerging opportunities for lenders and borrowers, and the future direction of government-backed finance in Ireland.
This event will automatically close midnight the day before or if its fully booked.
