Eva is an experienced business professional with a strong background in education specialising in the financial services sector in Ireland and Europe at C - level executives. Eva also lectures (part-time) with the Institute of Banking, recognised college of University College Dublin (UCD). Her modules are Strategic Decision Making, Business Management and Research Methods.
Eva is a highly focused strategist with experience of devising, implementing and managing marketing projects and building brands, managing stakeholders and effective project management. She is also committed to outstanding customer service. Eva also have extensive experience in working in the utilities industry.
She spent over five years with ESB International as technical data management officer and she was involved in a number of data migration projects and managed a number of technical databases such as SAP. Eva has also developed a Training Database for the Asset Management Department and this database plays a vital role in their Competency Assessment Procedure.
Eva holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) degree specialising in Strategy with University College Dublin (UCD). She also completed an MSc in Strategic Management degree specialising in Supply Chain Management with Technological University Dublin (TU) and a Professional Certificate in University Teaching and Learning with UCD. In 2022, Eva also completed her PhD with the University of Buckingham, specializing in strategy, investigating the relationship between dynamic capabilities and competitive advantage in the Irish retail banking sector.
Eva’s research interest is in the area of competitive advantage, more precisely achieving competitive advantage through organisational resources and capabilities and maximising organisational efficiency in the retail banking sector
