Kevin, a Chartered Financial Analyst, is an external specialist consultant in the banking and investment sectors with over 25 years of experience in financial markets. Working with banks, regulators and investors in Credit, Capital, Stress Testing and Strategy, Kevin has experience in over a dozen regulatory jurisdictions across Europe, US and Emerging markets.
He has worked through a range of mid-tier to top tier M&A transactions providing stress testing/due diligence consultancy, and transaction advisory. He was a member of Committee on Collective Investment Governance (CCIG) of Central Bank of Ireland (2014) which supported the development of CP86.
He is currently a member of the Advisory Committee of the Certified Investment Fund Director Institute. He developed and delivers the post graduate programs in Alternative Assets at IOB (UCD), in Wealth Management in the Masters in Finance at Trinity College Dublin, and on the Certified Bank Director program in Ireland and UK.
Kevin is also deputy chair of the Irish platform one of the largest CLO originators in Europe and is chief executive of GEM Strategic, a specialist consultancy firm.
Jim Connolly is Head of Pensions Technical with Goodbody and is also Module Coordinator for the Retirement Planning module on the Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning with IOB.
Jim has held many senior roles in the industry and is widely regarded as one of Ireland's leading pension consultants. He has a reputation for challenging the norm and is regularly featured in the media on pension related issues.
Sandra is a member of the ILIM Executive Management team with overall responsibility for ILIM’s Retail and Wealth Channels and ILIM's ESG policy and strategy development. Prior to taking on this position, Sandra held responsibility for ILIM’s International Business and Strategic Partnerships.
Prior to joining ILIM, Sandra was Head of Financial Planning and Pensions with Ireland's leading wealth manager, responsible for the establishment and delivery of financial and investment advice to High Net Worth clients, pension funds and charities. Sandra previously worked in Mercer as an actuarial consultant, working with a range of public sector and multinational clients in relation to their pension arrangements.
Sandra is a graduate in Actuarial Finance and Economics from University College Dublin, a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland. She is a Council Member of SIF Ireland (part of the European Sustainable Investment Forums) and a previous member of the Pensions Council of Ireland. The latter was established to advise the Minister for Social Protection on matters of relevance to pensions, with a particular focus on policies to support the sustainability and adequacy of pension provision.
Aoife joined Davy in 2018 and assists our clients with structuring their affairs tax efficiently in the context of their overall financial plan. She specialises in planning for high-net-worth individuals and their families, advising on the multi-generational transmission of wealth including family businesses. Aoife also advises clients on advanced estate planning strategies that include the use of trusts, family partnerships and investment companies. Aoife holds a 1st Class honours degree in Business and Economics, a MSc Finance (distinction), is a qualified accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA). She also holds a diploma in Retirement Planning Advice (RPA) as well as a diploma in Financial Advice (QFA). She is currently completing a Diploma in Trust & Estate planning.
