According to St Patrick’s Mental Health Services’ 2020 survey findings 63% of people believe that being treated for a mental health difficulty is still seen by Irish society as a sign of personal failure. Mental Health problems can affect anyone at any time during their lives and we all have the power to help stop the stigma and discrimination of mental health problems.

This Mental Health World Day we are joined by Mark Donnelly from HUH Clothing. Mark’s goal is to design, produce and sell HUH branded clothing in order to spark and encourage change whilst raising money for local mental health organisations.

Join us on 10th October 2022 as Mark shares his mental health struggles and experiences, which have ultimately led to the creation of HUH Clothing, and the importance of normalising mental health conversations through something as simple as a t-shirt and/or a hoodie. Casual clothing, comfortable conversations.

Mark Donnelly

Founder of HUH Clothing

HUH – How’s Ur Head HUH Clothing is my Irish Mental Health Awareness clothing brand. This brand was created of the back of personal experiences combined with passion. With previous struggles with OCD (Obsessive-compulsive disorder) & anxiety along with the sheer lack of normalised conversations around Mental Health, I knew I had to work hard on changing the attitudes of Mental Health struggles and illness throughout Ireland. HUH is all about starting casual conversation around Mental Health with friends and family with something as simple as a comfortable piece of clothing.
