The results of a recent survey we carried out with IOB members highlighted a strong interest in career support. You asked for more information and guidance to help you navigate your career and stay up to date with the latest best practices and trends in the job market. 

In response to your feedback, we’re delighted to launch a new series of events to help you plan your next career goal and ensure your CV, online profile and interview skills will help you achieve them. 

The schedule of events is as follows:

Second event in the series is CV preparation

While recruitment processes are always changing, the CV remains a key differentiator for job applicants. Join recruitment expert Jay Davitt to learn how best to position your CV and ensure it will grab the attention of every hiring manager. 

The event will be held over Zoom. Please ensure you have access to Zoom in advance of the event taking place. Zoom is available on all PCs, laptops, tablets and Apple or Android devices. The link to join the event will be emailed to registered members on the day of the event.

The registration for the event will close once we reach capacity or at 2pm the day before the event.

Since 2016, with Morgan McKinley, Jay has been advising finance professionals and key businesses in Dublin and the wider Leinster region on careers, talent acquisition and professional development.

Prior to joining Morgan McKinley, he spent 2 years with a boutique finance recruitment agency over 7 years working in finance related roles.

From training and qualifying as an ACA in a medium sized practice in Dublin, Jay worked for Grant Thornton and a construction-based company in Dublin.
