This event is a programme taster for the Professional Certificate in Asset Management.
ABOUT
Investing is treated as a science by some whilst also being variously described as being at the intersection of economics and psychology. This is what makes it such an interesting field – there’s room for debate, for nuance, for argument – but equally there’s also lots of room for misinformation. A little bit of knowledge can be more dangerous than none at all. At the very least you need to understand where on this continuum you are.
The Professional Certificate in Asset Management is a one module programme carrying 10 ECTS. This programme has been designed for those satisfying the Minimum Competency Code (MCC) of the Financial Regulator who wish to progress their knowledge and skills in the specific area of investment and asset management to that of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), the world’s most widely respected financial planning designation.
The programme integrates both theoretical and practical aspects of investment and asset management. It will provide a detailed examination of the theoretical and practical elements of investment assets, investment markets and market participants. It also provides the first stepping-stone to those considering taking the Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning and the full CFP® designation.
The event will be held over Zoom. Please ensure you have access to Zoom in advance of the event taking place. Zoom is available on all PCs, laptops, tablets and Apple or Android devices. The link to join the event will be emailed to registered members on the day of the event.
The registration for the event will close once we reach capacity, or at 11:55pm the day before the event.
