Join us to celebrate World Data Protection Day and hear insights from the Data Protection Commission on topical issues in data protection and the DPC’s priorities for 2023.
This event is also a programme taster event for the (NFQ Level 9) Professional Certificate in Data Protection.
This event will be held over Zoom. Please ensure you have access to Zoom in advance of the event taking place. Zoom is available on all PCs , laptops, tablets and Apple or Android devices. The link to join the event will be emailed to registered members on the day of the event.The registration for the event will close once we reach capacity or at 11.55pm the day before the event.

Garrett is Head of Consultation in the Private & Financial sector in the Data Protection Commission. He is an experienced Assistant Commissioner with a demonstrated history of working as a Solicitor in the public and private sectors.
Skilled in advising on all data protection compliance issues to the Insurance, Banking, Retail, Telecommunications, State agencies etcetera.
He is also a member of the Financial Matters Working Group in the European Data Protection Board (EDPB).
