New suite of IOB AI programmes launched

We are delighted to announce further details on our new suite of UCD accredited artificial intelligence programmes.

Launched at our recent IOB Future of Finance Summit, the new programmes support unique AI learning requirements in financial services. From AI generalists, to technical specialists and managers – these new programmes will equip financial services professionals with the cutting-edge expertise required to make the most of this transformative technology.

The programmes will be delivered online and are now open for expressions of interest for our spring trimester, beginning in February 2025.

Professional Certificate in AI Fundamentals in Financial Services (NFQ Level 7)

This programme is designed for professionals who are engaged, or want to be engaged in hands-on AI tasks, focused on driving operational efficiency and supporting team objectives through AI-driven solutions.

Professional Diploma in AI Models & Programming in Financial Services (NFQ Level 9)

Designed to bridge the gap between AI strategy and practical implementation, this specialised programme for non-technical financial services professionals, introduces the key models, and languages (Python, SQL), necessary to lead AI-driven innovations

Professional Diploma in AI Management in Financial Services (NFQ Level 9)

Aimed at professionals responsible for AI deployment or managing AI teams, this programme will deepen knowledge of and insights (theory and practice) on AI in general and AI management in financial services.

On-demand Skills Certificate

We also recently launched a new on-demand Skills Certificate – an Introduction to Responsible AI for Financial Services. This self-paced online course features an AI-enabled learning environment and is eligible for up for up 4 CPD hours for designate members.
