Bryan Johnston is an enthusiastic and energetic presenter who has been lecturing to QFA students for many years. He specializes in translating the textbooks into understandable and bite-size chunks.
He has been helping students pass QFA exams for over 10 years and has a terrific insight into all 6 QFA modules and exams.
Bryan’s background is in sales and sales management in banking and insurance. He also has a great technical knowledge and this combination makes learning both fun and insightful.
His style is to make the learning interactive and he encourages students’ participation and questions.
Stephen Hudson, Director of Financial Crime Compliance, Grant Thornton has over 13 years’ industry and regulatory experience across multiple financial sectors including Life Assurance, Pensions, Investments, Funds, Money Remittance and Payment Service Providers, Wholesale Banking and Retail Banking.
He previously worked for the Central Bank of Ireland's Anti- Money Laundering Division supervising credit and financial institutions in their adherence to the Criminal Justice (Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing) Act 2010 (as amended).
This included inspecting, guiding and challenging firms to ensure that strong governance principles and effective risk management frameworks were in place to detect and prevent Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing.
Catriona Coady is a Head of Tax Wealth Management with Goodbody and is responsible for assisting clients in developing and implementing their strategic tax and investment goals.
She is adept in advising on tax and investment solutions covering estate and succession planning, investment, pension and retirement planning.
Prior to working for Goodbody, she spent over 20 years working with big 4 firms providing tax advice to international and domestic clients. She is a CTA, TEP and CFP.
