AML plays a key role in safeguarding the integrity of the financial services sector. As such, the importance of implementing a robust AML framework cannot be understated. Join Conor Ryan, manager in the Financial Crime Prevention team in KPMG, for this 101 session on AML. Conor will explain the key principles of AML and highlight the core AML considerations which every financial services professional should be aware of. Conor will also draw on some real-life case studies during the session and there will be time allocated for a Q&A.

Conor has over 15 years of experience working in Compliance, predominantly focused on Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crime in both the Irish and Australian banking sector along with the Fintech/crypto currency industry. Conor has worked on designing AML Policies and Procedures and has managed numerous remediation projects in line with regulatory guidelines.
